Emergency archaeology

What to do if there is something unexpected underneath

In many cases, during urban archaeological works, unexpected remains such as mosaics, ancient walls, or ceramic artefacts may appear. In all these cases, you can contact us to request advice on how to proceed and comply with the current legislation. In fact, D.Leg /n. 42 dated 22nd of January 2004, states that all buried remains belong to the State and have to be preserved in accordance with statutory bodies regulations and guidelines. adArte is a specialised company that work with highly qualified staff in order to ensure that the highest standards are achieved in excavation works, compilation of documentation and its submission to local authorities.

To do so, we rely on new IT equipment and we have developed in-house software to undertake detailed analysis of archaeological data as well as to manage all data efficiently and quickly.
